Awesome post Jack.

All I can think of is that even with rubberized "dry" suits how absolutely cold those guys in the PBY beaching shot had to be! And I guess to be honest I am not sure if the suits are "dry" suits - it just looks like it to me and I cannot imagine getting in water like that.
