What ever you personally think makes it better

Waaaaay too subjective.
Comparing Mustangs with Phantoms, and with "cobras series (??)" does not work, since these have different technologies and performances.
Agree, whatever you personally think makes it better.

Of all the warbirds flying today which do you think is best brushing aside performance and technology, hope this makes it better. Also I'm putting a major emphasis on American aircraft.

My vote is for the P-47. Big, radial up front and a stance that says attitude. The fact that there is one 15 minutes from my house makes it even better...

Well, I gues I can reveal my choice, which is the Repbublic P-47 Thunderbolt. I chose this particular aircraft because of its stock appearance which suited both her Fighter and Attack roles.
