USAAF/C Badge & Debbie Harry

Because I'm past help, I noticed the badge. It's a standard USAAF badge isn't it?

Thinking further, the jacket, given as 'a vintage bikers jacket' by Chris Stein in the text, could be an airman's one?

The jacket is just a black biker's jacket of no particular design. The insignia on her lapel is most likely an aviation cadets insignia which were slightly larger than officers issue--and smaller than their hat device which would be considerable larger than what is shown.

Certainly no regulation military jacket.
