Mark - WOW - I had never heard of that Corsair that was sitting in a field in Provo, Utah. I wonder what her history prior to being a war memorial was?

It was a war memorial on display in Provo, Ut from 1943-1950.

According to an old thread on here, it was scrapped on site in 1952. :(

...as a note the guy in the video said that " some parts that were not scrapped ..were buried." The engine was sold & I do not know about the prop.

The Napoleon OH Corsair was scrapped. I have a file on it and it is defantly no longer in existence. Fell free to PM me if anyone needs more details.

Yup,
I spent years tracking it down. I spoke to the man who scrapped it. He sold the prop and engine. The rest he cut up into pieces that fit in his pickup truck and it went in the landfill.....

Hard to tell what the BuNo is, 76545, 76645, 92545, 92645 or something completely different. lol
