Thanks for the update on Korean War Hero. West Pac must have worked overtime to get it back in flying condition that fast. Great to see it back in the air! The second photo above looks like it has a window for a back seat. Question....has a new back seat been installed or has it always been there and I jusr did not notice? Any thoughts on that subject?

I'm pretty sure that 'rear window' is an optical illusion created by the curvature of the canopy.

Good day!

While looking for details/whereabouts of FG-1D FAS 201..we found this interesting B/w shot. Vought F4U-4 poss Buno 97143 Tail Code "K", in Olathe USNR scheme c. 1954-55. Photo via NARA. If anyone has a better resolution plz post! Tks in advance.
