This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I put this list together after working & flying in the B-25J for a few hundred hours. I'm intersted to see what others would put on the list. I'd also be intersted in list others with experience in other types of warbirds to could put together.
Hope you enjoy it!
TOP 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT B-25s
10. HAVING TO CLIMB ACROSS TOP TURRET TO PRE-FLIGHT/REFUEL AIRCRAFT.
9. FALLING OFF THE AIRCRAFT
8.ALL THAT @#$!!??***#@!! OIL EVERYWHERE!
7.WHEN THINGS GO WRONG THEY REALLY GO WRONG
6. PEOPLE ALWAYS ASKING WHEN WE'RE GOING TO POLISH IT.
5. BANGING MY HEAD ON PROP BLADE
4. 980+ GALLONS OF GAS AT $2.95/GALLON
3. CLEARING OUT ENGINE HYDRAULIC LOCKS
2. CHANGING MAIN GEAR TIRES
1. PILOT SAYING "WE'RE ON FIRE!"
TOP 10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT B-25s
10. YOU CAN GET PEOPLE TO RIPE OFF OIL BY LETTING THEM SIT IN COCKPIT
9. YOU CAN TRADE YOUR PICTURES FOR RIDES IN SUBJECT AIRCRAFT
8. EVERYONE'S NOW YOUR FRIEND
7. TAKING VETS FOR RIDES
6. IT'S A CHICK MAGNET
5. YOU CAN PILE TONS OF JUNK UNDER IT IN THE HANGER.
4. YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH ONLY WASHING BOTTOM HALF OF THE AIRPLANE
3. YOU CAN SET RECORD FOR MOST NOISE COMPLAINTS IN YOUR AIRPORTS HISTORY.
2. BY DOING A MISSED APPROACH OFF RUNWAY 13 YOU CAN SET OFF ALL CAR ALARMS IN THE KMART PARKING LOT!
1. IT MAKES YOU SEEM COOLER THAT YOU ACTUALLY ARE.

Jack nice list. I'm jealous that you've had the lucky experience to have both worked and flown in the B-25J.

I’ve talked to a few that did not even want to go inside for a look, for their own personal reasons, but I could tell that the effort to keep warbirds flying meant a
lot to them.

When I crewed the Yellow Rose, people would always ask if the A/C flew, answered was no, we have two flat trailers our back for it. We also carried a Texaco road map on the dash to raise more questions.
But meeting and flying the Vet's was the best reward.

Nice baker 25 pics Jack but you look pretty toothless, all relaxed with all those drilled
cartridge cases draped around you.
