Just went to the POF site to order advance tickets for the airshow. Much to my dismay, they will only accept payment thru PayPal. I refuse to do business with PayPal (it's a long story) so that means no advance tickets. :x
The other option is to stand in, what I can only assume will be a line a mile or so long at the gate on show day. THAT AIN'T GONNA' HAPPEN :!: Done that at too many airshows. By the time you get in, every decent picture vantage point is gone.
Oh well...there's still MAAM, Duxford, and TOM.

YEAH...YEAH...I know..."a little cheese with that...?" :x

PayPal currently under the spotlight in the UK about they way they conduct business with EBay due to the fact that some buyers and sellers have lost money/goods as a result of their actions . Think you're right to continue to have nothing to do with them - as you say, there are other shows!

Mudge, try calling the giftshop directly to see if you can get your tickets that way. In past years, that was always an option. If you need the number send me a PM

Cindy...Thanks for the suggestion but BDK has been kind enough to offer to pick them up when he goes to Chino on Saturday.
I never cease to be impressed with the camaraderie of the troops here.:supz: :drink3:

If that doesn't work. I'll be there on the 16th and can do the same for you....
