This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Anyone know what WWII Warbirds ( Or CG ) are used in the upcoming movie LITTLE BOY ( Feb 27) ? Sorry, didn't provide link

I'm sure there are better "Sniffer-Outers"
In WIX land than me !

Watched the trailer - the term "saccharine" comes to mind...
I spy a few CGI-ish Corsairs:

Here's the link to view the movie trailer,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_BdzqsIX6AThe shot with the Corsairs is at 1:53. The CGI as a whole looks pretty lame in this movie. I think this movie is going to be a dud.

Expected more Manhattan Project, from the title!
Not a Warbird movie, so poor CGI doesn't matter to me.

And are they being "chased" by a Hughes 300 helo?
This looks like it could be a typical war movie/Baa Baa Black sheep shot with a guy falling from the tower right before it explodes and falls over in a plume of orange and black pyro.....

The split second that shows the Dad in combat gear made me wince as well. In that moment I could easily tell he was wearing a postwar helmet.
If they can't get such a simple thing right for a key character, I have no hope for the rest of the film...

I agree with Richard - not really a war bird movie so it is no biggie.
AND to second a few others, there should be a better Manhatten Project movie made - I happen to know an airfield that would be perfect for the film

Have you seen Paul Newman's Fat Man and Little Boy?
Plenty of B-29s and sermonizing.

JohnB - IMHO Fat man and Little Boy is one of the reasons a GOOD movie needs to be made. I think I would focus more on the 393rd bombardment squadron and the training and deployment they did rather than try and retell the whole story.
