This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Is this one definitely happening? Or just on their 'wish list'?

From this December article, it looks to be in the permit stage and the museum board to decide/give go ahead on ground breaking soon. Perhaps construction starting in Spring 2015.
So looks beyond the wish list phase to a definite maybe.....

The nice thing about the roof at MOF is that it is going to be able to add the building sides as they fund it. SO the end result will be the aircraft indoors.

Not a physical expansion, but the Hagerstown Aviation Museum has been rather quietly expanding their collection of planes. The newest addition is a C-123 which will be ferried in sometime this spring (one hopes!). Located in the old Fairchild factory buildings at KHAG, they have done a pretty good job acquiring Fairchild products, including the "big three" Fairchild transports: C-82, C-119 and now the C-123.

I talked with some of their fund raising folks not too long ago and I really don't think this is coming right away. It's been on the, "we'll get this eventually" list but I really don't think it's in the pipeline right now...

On Facebook the World Heritage Air Museum has posted.
Announcement -- WHAM has added additional hangar space in Pontiac. 10,000 sqr ft! We will be building this site out as our new Headquarters in the first quarter, while of course continuing operations in Detroit. We will be calling out for volunteers as the weather turns , to help us turn this building into an enviable base. Whoohoo!
http://www.worldheritageairmuseum.org/the other expansion I can think of is the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton, Ohio building another hangar.

Apparently the MoF have already started moving their large outdoor aircraft in preparation for construction to commence, so it would seem that they are definitely going ahead with the covered area.
