Old Crow at Duxford?

Thu Jan 22, 2015 3:50 pm

Hey all, I am on holiday in sunny England. Today I visited Duxford for the first time and this P-51 landed, after a quick display. I am unsure on the registration of this aircraft. The local guys said it was the old crow (N167F??), however I thought I would post a pic here and ask you experts.

cheers

Right place Brenden, Thanks for posting it, it's always a treat to see a Non Silver P-51 now & then. Don 't know if it's Old Crow ( O.D one ) but this bird looks Mean standing still! Love those inner clams! Thanks again, Tony
P.S Any Spit Low Back XVIs ?

According to posts on another forum, this is indeed the ex-Scandenavian Historic Flight "Old Crow", now UK owned.

No disrespect whatsoever to Bud Anderson but I like the RAF scheme soooo much better. Very nice!

It still bears his signature on one of the gear doors, from when he flew over Leiston in 2001

Bud Anderson, by all reports, is a first class human being.
It's O.K. that this machine has been repainted (looks great BTW)
There are still a few "Old Crows" out there to carry Bud's torch. He will never be forgotten!

Well, That leaves it open for an O.D "Old Crow" D model to be painted in the U.S!
