Nothing personal Tony but it's only new news to those who are not involved. Like most ALL of us. This acquisition has been in the works for some time. Just not known to those who's business is not our business. I don't think you'll find much posted about it here, or elsewhere for that matter. But Id say its in good hands IMO. The guy can afford it and afford to take good care of it .... And publicly display it to those of us the care to see it up close. A good home for sure.

Of course until it's absolutely publicly proven that Lewis purchased it ... Who knows, this could all be a load of BS, not the first time rumors have been proven wrong. I can only state what I've been told ten times over by those who would know this kind of stuff and that's usually good sources for me to be convinced it's true news.

Just to go with the discussion, there was mention (such as on the Key Publishing forum) that the aircraft was sold, or was going to be sold, as early as last May, only days after it had first flown again. The aircraft's display appearances this past year seemed to be providing for a nice send-off, such as Nick Grey's superb "joker" routine with the Hellcat at Flying Legends 2014 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoXenmE4pxw).
