I recently found part of an aircraft hatch out in the Mojave desert near Edwards Air Force Base. Several part numbers have been found on the latch and other components. Some of those numbers are 233626-2 (inner latch), 237223 ( outer latch), 233649-L lock frame. I have searched all of these numbers and come up with 0 results. Attached is a photo of the find. If you have any ideas on what this came from please let us know. Thanks, Chad

Side opening latch for the top canopy of a early Lockheed P-38. Changed to a rear opening canopy during the F model production run. Quite rare and valuable. Let me know if you want to sell it.

I can't seem to reply to your PMs, I don't have enough authority to do so.
