P.B.S. ultimate restorations

Sat Mar 14, 2015 9:19 am

Public Broadcasting has I think hit a Home Run with this program. It shows the restoration of various historical objects,
Yachts, steam locomotives, pipe organs, etc. What I found refreshing was the lack of Drama as with other programing
when restoring things. They showed the restoration of a Lysander at the Vintage Wings Air Museum in Ottawa, Canada.
Enjoyed artisans working without the drama of self imposed deadlines for the camera's sake. No yelling, cursing, just craftsmanship.
Check it out.

This is a true reality show that belongs on a major cable network, unlike 90% of the crap that is broadcast. Great stuff!

Will indeed check it out, thanks for the tip. There a couple of car shows I enjoy, but the "drama", and side stories are so fake and take away from the work. No I don't want to see the gang go to the gun range to settle a bet, or go on vacation, or "fight" with the boss.....please no more...
