Now, I still need to get the wings (components sold separately), fuselage, engine, prop, spinner, seat, radios, instrument panel (and each single instrument), wheels, tires and so on...

Beginning now, I will start accepting contributions to my P-51D Mustang acquisition funds. If you plan to donate, the minimum donation to be accepted will be $50,000.00 per sucker... I mean, per donor

I promise to write (in small font, you understand) the donor's names inside the fuselage.

I wonder if the gear door happens to be the one that Precious Metal lost a couple years ago. So for it hasn't turned up as far as I know.

:? do ya think he would make a package deal for the hanger with all the fixin's? What if I came over one night and helped him clean out the hanger? Just Asking.

I wonder if he has an extra zero in the gear door advert by mistake. While the other prices are high they don't seem as over the top as the set of gear doors.........know what I mean?

Sounds just like obumercare. If you like your mustang parts you can keep 'em.

Without actually asking the guy, I of course, have no clue if his prices are actual, or just to see if someone would bite.

I am doing this as an exercise in entertainment, and as someone here at WIX used to say, "funnying" (BTW, what happened with Mudge?)

Given that I -short of hitting the jackpot- will never own a -51, I can cheaply dream on building an airplane using someone else's Mustang parts, albeit only on a computer screen.
