I have a few quick questions that I can't seem find easily on the internet.

1) I know Skytronics makes a lightweight alternator for the 985/1340, all in all total package should take roughly 100 lbs off the nose ?

2) Is there a light weight 24v starter made for the 985 ? and is the same model for the 1340 ?

3) I've noticed there are a number of different carb's used on the 985. Which one is most commonly used in an aerobatic setup ? I imagine number 1 would be fuel injection reign's supreme but next would be what carbs ?

4) How much of a fuel savings would you see running fuel injection vs carb's on a 985 ?

Thanks again for any help.

Try getting in contact with Matt Younkin, he is flying the aerobatic beech 18.
