Other than the Connecticut Corsair and the one in Pensacola, what other Corsair projects are taking place?

There's several Corsairs either currently under restoration or about to begin restoration. Owners prefer to keep them under wraps. Their airplanes, their business, our misfortune ... for now anyway ... but I did get a T-shirt recently 8)

The one and only Brewster Corsair being restored at Ezell Aviation.

No doubt she will be a beauty. Ezell does real nice work.

At Pensacola. Lake Michigan recovery.

Don't forget the Corsair that Scott Dennison is fabricating parts for. Be sure to check out his thread / sticky. Beautiful work.

Look through the registry. There are more.

Hey Pat, Odegaard Aviation has had a -4 there for some time, last I saw, it looked almost complete & in primer. Ezell Aviation, like Andy noted, & John Lane seem to be the first 2 places to go to for Corsair restoration. But Wait ! There's More ! Sanders Aeronautical has a -1 , ex wind machine, being restored for Chuck Greenhill ! ...and of course the Bird Cage in Cal. Also , the ex/ Soplata Collection Corsair should be under restoration , Tri-Stae Museum's, & the ex racer being restored with some great work from Scott Dennison, pop2

I am lucky to be a part of the Warbird Heritage Foundation's FG-1D "Race 94" BU 92050. TabAir (SamTaber) is the magician in charge. 8)

And on our side of the pond, there are two Corsairs in restoration process to flying status:
- One at the Ferté Alais (South of Paris), this private airport is well known to host a nice airshow in May/June)
The restoration is nearly complete as shown in this picture:
https://www.facebook.com/183374801677785/photos/a.753758637972729.1073741827.183374801677785/1044901312191792/?type=1&theater

- One at Dole (in the center east of France) : less information available, but the last pictures available show a complete fuselage missing the wings.

Regards

This is another one being rebuilt to static display standard.

http://www.classicjets.com/f4u.html

It is not listed in the warbird registry yet (not sure why).
The identity is that of 02270 which I believe makes it the oldest surviving F4U-1.

You have mr. Craig mcburneys corsair i think in Chester,ct. And the neams xf4u-4 is currently undergoing a cockpit restoration, possibly with more work being done. And as mentioned the Connecticut air and space center in Stratford,ct and doing a remarkable job on their fg-1d. I can't give those guys enough credit.
