I have no information whatsoever on this interesting looking bird. A guess is maybe one of the USAFE Air Base Groups, but other than that I'm clueless.
The patch on the tail looks like an early version the 78th Fighter Interceptor Wing (later the 78th Air Base Wing) emblem. Though it appears to be the square shield versus the more modern shield. That T-Bird is shown as having crashed while with the 82nd FIS and the 82nd FIS came under control of the 78th FIW.
