These shots of the remains of F9F-8P 144397 were taken by Leon Cleaver on November 7, 1977 on the property of Mr. Wade Vannoy, outside West Jefferson, NC:
So, anyone know how this Cougar ended up(side) down on the farm?
This will be it for a while, until Leon digs up some more goodies. As always, it's a pleasure to help him out and bring some forgotten aircraft to light, and I hope you've enjoyed seeing them as much as I have.
