Overhead

Sun May 03, 2015 1:59 pm

Around 12;05pm, a B-1, B-2 and a B-52 flew over the house I guess headed for Dyess AFB. It would have been the ultimate if FiFi, Doc and B-47 was information with them like we discussed here earlier this week...

From CAF Invader Squadron - a pretty impressive formation itself:

In honor of celebrating 30 years of the B-1. We did a Historic A-26 and B-1 formation flight at Dyess AFB for the Big Country Airfest 2015. It is the first time in history this has ever been done.

Well that's cool.

I qualified once to fly Heritage Flights in the P-40, with the RCAF demo CF-18. Very cool to look over and see it there on the wing.

Here's a shot of the USAF Bomber review from Sunday (just had my iPhone handy).

And for good measure a shot of one of the F-35's taxiing in for static display on Friday.
