Great pics! What's the story on that funky Ju-88 mockup? An old movie prop?

The Ju88 uses some original parts, although some oft he rest of it leaves something to be desired!
The craziest exhibit for me is the Zero cockpit section. Built just a few years ago, it's a replica of the one in the Imperial War Museum. Why??! Oh and we're going to mount it half-way up the wall...
Anyway, great pics and two great locations.

Thanks for these cool views. Dumb question: Did you happen to get a snap of the 1916 Ahrens Fox Fire Truck? I'm into those. Planes, ships, tanks, cars & trucks.... You know the type.

The parts show was pretty amazing. German instruments are rare and expensive here in the USA but seem to be pretty common in Germany...go figure! The prices seemed reasonable for the instruments and just what you would expect for the cool airframe relics. Lots of reproduction parts too for the typical very desirable instrument panels and cockpit items.
Sorry I didn't get any shots of the fire truck you asked about. Sinsheim Technik museum had a huge collection of fire trucks that was impressive. Lots from the states there too.
You all are welcome and thanks for the kind words on posting the photos. I certainly enjoy you all posting the photos of your travels to these cool places so I hope I can repay it with posts like this.

What a museum! So much too see. It seems a person could spent a week there and not see everything.
