Going through the registry for something not in particular when this tidbit popped up...... Bn 69323, C-LEJ, has now appeared on the US registry as N-124TB. Registered to Donahue Andrew, Argyle, Tx. A great number of airline jockies live in that area, Flower Mound, Trophy Club, etc... this is all just north of DFW airport.... Any thoughts? The x-Neely TBM will be heading out to Deland, Fl with the Florida Wing of the CAF..... This is Bn 85597, C-FIMK, N-704QZ. Any other further TBM news???? Has the MAAM TBM flown? We know Mikeeeeeee Rawson has another toy coming up from Florida..... Lots of TBM movements and lots of parts still out and about...... Alan

Alan,

The MAAM TBM flew last year in their WWII Days Airshow.

Alan,
Attached are 2 pics of a/c you asked about.
First is MAAM TBM in flight June 2005.

The second is TBM outside NAS Wildwood Air Museum July 2005.
As posted earlier there is a TBM inside the museum also.

MAAM TBM

The MAAM TBM is the one that Jack Kosko and his volunteers restored and donated to the MAAM. It came from Maine I believe and had been damaged after landing in a lake years ago.

Thanks Bill... nice pics... If anyone knows, is the new owner of N-145WB, Ed Wuerkeur (correct spelling?) going to keep the airplane going as a flying restoration, or take it apart from the ground up........ or worse.. become a static airplane.

Steve the MAAM machine is Bn 53638, N-109K.

Charlie, do you still have Bn 91436? Also, welcome to the board... If that TBM is still in your hands, could you please give an update.... In addition, was your bird in Florida with Reilly in say 98? I may have pictures or tape from that time frame when out and about through the museum... Alan

I am still working on 91436 and it's coming along slowly. The sheet metal work is completed except for one wing flap.I have most of the parts rounded up except for some turret parts.Interior is painted and outside should get painted this summer.Just myself and a few great volunteers doing the work but it will be an award winner.I bought it in Jan99.I will try to get a picture to Scott for the data base.I am always interested in pictures if you have some.It sounds like we were at Reilly's at about the same time. Thanks for the reply, charlie Cartledge

In other TBM news:
The Fargo Air Museum recently aquired a TBM a dark blue flyer (Not Gerry Beck's) but I'm not sure which one it is. Yet.

From what I have picked from the FAA registry, the (new) Fargo TBM is Bn 85632, N-81865, which was previously owned by Wayne Rudd in Colorado. The airplane had been for sale on Barnstormers for quite some time. Does anyone have a picture or two to post on this airplane??? Alan

The warbird registry has the info on Jack Kosko's TBM #53638 that the MAAM now has in airworthy condition. Jack has helped me with some parts for my TBM and is a great guy.If anyone gets near Reading PA. it is worth your time to stop in and check out the TBM. Charlie Cartledge
