Yes you do look petty but no need to go running off yourself. Take your own advice and get over it and move on, that's what I'm trying to do. Having thin skin and a bad temper is a B ...

Not at all Zachary , we're on WIX, Discussing Warbirds AND Warbird Photos is what WIX IS About ! We should just stick to that ! Everything else should just be let go of and move on to Warbirds. If someone offends someone else, either apologize and move on, or take a break, breath, and get back to Warbirds
P.S, this is where the music at the end of Linus ' speech in "A Charlie Brown's Christmas" comes in ! God Bless us all and good will to mankind !

I need some clarification.

Mark:
Have we talked you into staying yet? I really hope so.

Everyone:
You all know this, but I'm gonna say (er, type) it anyway. The only way to stop the bickering and in-fighting on any internet forum is for the forum to be fully moderated (in other words, the mods approve every submission before it's actually posted to the forum). Let's hope that never happens to WIX. We ALL need to make a concerted effort to ignore posts that bother us. Don't try to argue a point that you don't agree with. Just let it drop and go on 'bout yer bidness. If you know that something in a given thread is gonna push your hot button, just don't read the thread. For example, I stopped reading those silly threads about TIGHAR a long time ago, for exactly that reason. WIX has lost too many good members already. Let's try to keep that from happening again in the future.

Mark:
If you're gonna stay (and I hope you are), may I most humbly request a photo essay on Arctic and Antarctic aviation ops? That's a subject that's always fascinated me. Nathan will probably like it, too, since he's such a fan of Day-Glo and high-vis paint schemes.

I have enjoyed Marks photos and I've copied/downloaded many from WIX.
Where is the master photobucket account to all the pictures?
Can someone please post a link?
Is there an index to all the different threads/topics?
I thought photobucket sucks anyway, is Flickr better?

I've been much happier with Flickr. Mark was very unhappy with the way his photos were looking on PB so I volunteered to host a handful on Flickr. (I thought they looked good but nobody opined one way or t'other.) IMO it's just easier to work with and I don't get those irritating messages around the end of the month saying I've used too much bandwidth and all my photos turn into little gray boxes for several days (on an account that is using only 17% of its photo capacity).

And yes, Mark, I'm sorry to see you go too. So many of your posted photos create little aviation puzzles to solve, and I thoroughly enjoy learning from them. Hope this gets resolved more amicably.
