HIGH Reselution and 3D PRINTS

Not sure where this post should be, so here goes....
A friend of mine owns a company that buys and sells large printers, copiers, sorting machines,,,, things like that. He got a new "TOY" a 3D printer that can make prints up to 30 feet long and 1/4 inch high. He printed out a great NOSE Art for me off the web (Blonde Bombshell) that is poster size in under 45 second. The detail is fantastic! This machine can use up to 1600 dpi (whatever that is) he says the higher the dpi the crisper and larger a print can be.



Is there an interest for getting large high definition prints of warbirds, nose art, WW2 reprints among the WIX'ers?

Looking for feedback, or if this has been discussed let me know.

He is also working on a 3D reprint of an OLD Bendix Radio Faceplate for my UC-61K restoration. We are using an old scanned picture and adding some more details through "Paint" in Micro Soft off a desktop.
