Yup, Corsair Freaks ! ( Present Company Here !!) The Cavanaugh Flight Museum is having their "Warbirds Over Addison " Air Show This weekend May 16-17 with a Corsair Fly In, I think Rod Lewis' Ira Kepford marked ( Looks Beautiful ! Like a Giant Revell Kit Come to Life !

I was supposed to bring LSFM Corsair, but looks like the weather might prevent that.

When you are flying someone else's $2,000,000+ airplane it is best not to peel the paint by flying it in the rain, especially if you want to fly it again.

Hey Lynn A., I was also told that it's the backside of the Prop. Blades that collects the most bugs !?

It's easy for an armchair enthusiast like me to be flippant about such things
There's a Spitfire IX based near me that won't fly past a certain weather threshold, and I'd rather it miss the occasional event because of bad weather there/en-route (as happened a year or two ago) than lose it altogether.
