Found it at the Chandler municipal airport. Looks like repaired/ existing damage to the right lower wing?
Also the RH wheel looks a little off kilter!? Anybody know this one or what happened to it?

Hey Chris, I just stumbled across your Flickr account a few days ago and have been perusing your albums as time permits. I'm an Arizona native and have been in the greater Phoenix area since 1979 and have fond memories of some of the events you have covered. I would love to see more Deer Valley pictures from the 1980-85 time frame. I have fond memories of some very good airshows that were held at the airport back then. That was really where I got my first taste of warbirds with the two Spits owned by Woodson Woods, Mustangs "Unruly Julie", "Fat Cat", and "Ho Hun", and many others. Good memories!

I had to make some clarifications. The CG had four of these N3N-3 airframes and three N3N-1 airframes.

I got this from a CG aircraft historian. This is the only surviving former CG N3N-3 airframe BUNO 2613. It's had some mods to it. It is currently N1120.
The only surviving N3N-1 is supposed to be in a museum in South America.

My uncle owned 1120 from 1984-2001 and I flew it around 400hrs. It is stone stock with the rare original cowl and no electrical system. It was owned by Jack Tillman from 1947 until my uncle bought it. Great airplane. Don

My understanding is during one of the rebuilds the original engine was a R-760 and replaced with a PW R-985 and the full ring cowling was added. Is your uncle's initial's BT?
