It looks like 44-34759 NX67834 Reynolds Bombshell

Tks for the info & data. I believe the Reynolds B-26 'Bombshell" was abandoned at Teheran Apt, Iran c. 60's & remains there in a Museum.

The 3 B-26 samples were the pic above a poss grey scheme B-26 with another grey & a poss black/dark blue B-26 with an engine cowling detail as shown in the pic below. Poss somewhere Southern US, c. 1970s. A poss Guatemalan AF samples sold to the US collectors. Tks in advance.

this aircraft is under restoration in Provo Utah. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will send some

If I had just enough money,( not millions,) but well off, I'd try to get a a-26 and save it at a airport. So much history, fought in 3 wars etc but yet is still not a multi million dollar aircraft

can someone tell me how to post some pics to this forum. i would like to post some of the recent restoration photos of N917Y and i also have a few of Kermit's that i could post that i took myself as long as no one has any objections.

I for one would love to see what is happening to N917Y.

Two Invaders I find interesting are:

44-34526. Has been sitting out in the dirt at Santa Teresa, New Mexico airport for some time. Easily viewable from google earth. Was known as the Intimate Invader.

44-34555. Was at Las Cruces, New Mexico airport disassembled, eventually sold to someone in Houston. Seems to have dropped off the radar after that.

The one that went to Houston is being restored and actively looking for parts. We have contact ever so often to discuss. Texas is gaining the edge on the A-26 population. Looks the airplane is making a comeback! Sweet!! The Special Kay team is looking forward to a special A-26 gathering one of these days! JR

The man who sponsored the around the world flight in this A-26 made his money how?? Trivia question of the week. JR
