oleg is selling one here http://www.flying-legends.ru/eng/Sale_W ... 63C-5.html seems a bit dodgy though...never done a deal with him so do so at your own risk...or trying wing museum in the uk they have 5 and may trade you, again at your own risk

You won't have problems with Oleg, one of the few stand up guys from that neck of the planet.

Try contacting Dave Goss, Gosshawk aviation in Casa Grande, AZ, I believe he has the P-63 remains that Doug Champlin had

Yes, as have quite a number of the major Warbird collectors, most notably Yagen.

1) The Fighter Factory's old website had a couple of projects for sale, and they were pretty challenging.
2) Steve Wittman's P-63 is still sitting abandoned in Lake Winnebago where it was ditched after engine failure. (Oshkosh, Wisconsin)
3) You could contact current owners and see if they would sell their example or have any spare parts or leads on parts.
4) Could search south of the border. Several were sent south to foreign countries after the war. Those countries have been searched for P-51 and Corsair parts, less so for P-38 and P-47 parts, No one is probably even asking about P-63 parts and hulks.
5) You can continue to wait forever for the family to disperse the Soplata collection. THere's a P-63 fuselage, and maybe the whole aircraft stored in the B-36 fuselage.
6) Contact the national museums here and abroad and see if they will sell their example or have any parts available for purchase. (The Air Force museum has three or four.)
7) Contact the Whittington Bros. in Miami. They owned a lot of warbirds including P-63's and they own World Jet. They may know of a few examples down south.

Good luck!

Speaking of P-63's, whatever became of "World Wide Wings"? Around 2007 they acquired all of the ex Doug Camplin/GossHawk inventory of P-63 airframes and parts and were working on restoring four P-63's to fly (two P-63E's and two P-63C's). They were based at Ryan Field, outside of Tucson, AZ.

Classic Aircraft Sales Ltd has, or had, a P-63 project for sale for $695,000 (with reportedly over $1M already spent on it). Complete with overhauled Allison and prop.

Just need a basic fuselage and wings at this time - battered is OK. Ex Russian airframe would be ideal.

The project JohnT mentioned isn't on the Classic Aircraft Sales website but I'm sure Graham could help you find one. Contact details can be found here: http://classicwings.com/classic-aircraft-sales.php

Unfortunately Barnstormers.com only returned one result for "P-63" but it's one that would sure prove invaluable: "P-39 P-63 TECHNICAL DRAWINGS • $300 • AVAILABLE • 11500 Bell aircraft drawings in PDF format sorted by p/n and description ready to use without hassle • Contact Tristan Masterson, Owner - located Bolwarra, NS Australia • Telephone: 0481308223 . • Posted June 3, 2015"

Isn't said seller involved in this very thread?

.

John, I seem to recall that the individuals from this company were recently involved with a law suit involving Gerry Yagen and Kermit Weeks.
Something to do with failure to deliver.
