Well poop my pants...someone suggested to me that it was still down in Wichita, so I never gave a thought of hunting hangars.

You DID take pics of it, right Gary?

I did spy the Helldiver on Friday...the hanger it was in was not open on Saturday. Sorry I did not get pics when I had a chance!

If I remember correctly Sue does not have a kill. The marking on her is from Bohna's (sp?) time in a P-38.

Doh...you're correct. I guess I'm one of those historical revisionists. Good catch.

No pics , Dan.....I had left my camera in the Poon, and my cell was dead after the flight in Friday...Fagan's hid it Saturday...it was on a rolling jig...had to make room for aircraft that night.

Great Photo's! This is a show, that i would love to attend soon. It seems the Fagen family has put together a top of the line museum and show. But i do have to ask, as i haven't seen it mentioned here. Who's P-63 was in attendance? Does it belong to the Texas Flying Legends group or a private party?

The P-63 is owned by John Bagley/Legacy Flight Museum (and it was flown by John Bagley at the show). It was previously owned by Apollo 8 astronaut Frank Borman, and was restored to very detailed/fully stock condition by Square One Aviation in the 90's. It won Oshkosh WWII Grand Champion in 1998. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Legacy-F ... 86?fref=ts

Regarding the Helldiver, for those that saw it, is it still in primer or has it been painted yet?

I'm not really into P-39/63's, but what a couple of great videos. These are from the Legacy Flight Museum's Facebook page.
