I know, I know, if I buy it, I can paint it any way I want- his airplane, his money, etc. Spare me. All I'm saying is, if you actually KNOW the thing has a combat history, why the everloving ffffff would you NOT restore it back into it's original markings? I genuinely cannot understand why someone would do that.

Makes me appreciate groups like Aircorps Aviation and their work on "Sierra Sue II" all the more.

Well, Bruce Jenner got a restoration and he didn't use his original Olympic Triathlon Winning outer skin. :lol:

So this is the Listing for C/N 5653 N4169A. At some point it switched from a TBF-1C to a TBM-3E.
Anyone know how that happened?
