My wife shot this last Spring. It is actually a rather well known crash site. The fact that it is this intact after over 65 years says something about its location.
All crew members survived.
So what is it and where is it?

Boy -- that was fast...
The valley is called the Panamint Valley.
Birgitta took the photo from a Super Cub -- actually ex- Dutch Army. The pilot is a friend who loves Death Valley, and has been helping us do shots from the air of subjects in the Park.
This links to the story of the wreck.
