The Henley family Mustang has returned to flight last week after completion by Aeroplace Services Inc. in Denison Texas. It has now returned home to Alabama for paint and new engine install.

Great news. Growing up in Mississippi near the Alabama border I had heard a few people swear that had seen the proverbial "Mustang in a barn". The first time I was invited out to Henley farm, in the mid-90s, I saw N51TH parked in their open hangar/farm shed (along with some C-195s/UC-126s) and realized that must have been the source of those stories! I was definitely lucky to get to see Tom, Mark and Alan all take their turns "beating up" the farm in it.
