Looking to purchase a set of accurate replica 27" diamond tread tires for my SNJ-5B. Who makes accurate replicas?
I found these:
http://www.desser.com/aircraft-tires-an ... -10-md.aspLooking for feedback from owners/restorers.
I now have a set of original rims with brake drums for my SNJ...looking to put some rubber on them.
Still need brake backing plates, hub caps and axles if anyone has a non-airworthy set for sale.

Those tires from Desser are the only new ones available. They are good quality and are what you see on all of the flying aircraft out there. They are only manufactured in a 10 ply rating, so if you use them on a standard category T-6 / SNJ you technically need a 337 since the aircraft was type certificated with 6 or 8 ply tires only. There is approximately a 5.5 lb difference between the two tires.

I have a stack (or two) of backing plates. If you want to pay for shipping I can send 2 your way.
