White 33 Real Close to Flying????????????//

Mon Oct 26, 2015 10:39 pm

It looks like that the much anticipated P-38 Lightning White 33 is getting real close to first flight. Anybody out there in WIX land have any more current information? This will make number 8 in the world in flying condition. I personally think number 9 is right around the corner. That being the Evergreen Aviaiton Museum's EX P-38 called Marge.
Who would have ever thought that just a few years ago there was at best maybe a couple of P-38's flying.

They published on their Facebook page no later than last week 1st engine runs were imminent.
It has also been registered N12652 on 15/10/2015 with the FAA: http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry ... rtxt=12652

Thanks, Ben
