That does not sound unreasonable, maybe a bargain?
They should also explore opportune lift by using "space available" on AF transport planes.
Also what about those guys who had a TV show who competed for transporting objects around the country? Anyone know how to contact them?

I think the dis-assembly part could be done by WIX volunteers. Lets all get together and take her apart. A good excuse to have a WIX gathering.

I priced out moving the OKC Fairgrounds B-47 from OKC to Tulsa several years ago. The company we talked with and did a site visit with has moved a couple of B-47s for the NMUSAF. If they are the folks who do it, they will cut the wing in half (they call it an "engineered splice") and transport it that way. They will then splice it back together when they reassemble it. Otherwise, because of the swept wing design, the wing can't be moved by land. The price about a decade ago was $110,000.

200K is about the going rate for moving an aircraft that size, including disassembly, transport, and reassembly. Some money can be saved if you have a crew do the putting together. They prefer to do the disassembly and crating for move though. I don't know which Co. they are talking with: Some do better jobs than others I have been told.
