And if any companies like this one are still flying S-58T's and could bring one to the show, that would be fantastic:

Unfortunately, three of the CH-47D's and the Sikorsky S-61 were based at McClellan Airport in Calif this summer fighting wildfires, chances are they'll be here again in 2016; we've got lots of dead trees from drought and Japanese Bark Beetle infestations, going to probably have another bad fire season next year.

Maybe we can hope for a "wetter" summer in CA next year, but I suspect you are probably right, Roger.

YAM is putting on both shows. The June show is a Wednesday evening event. If you buy a gen. adm. ticket for Thunder you get a free gen. adm. ticket for the June show (same w/parking passes).

Now THAT sounds interesting! I know that some warbird enthusiasts may be a little less than excited about the Helicopter theme planned for next year's Thunder Over Michigan, but the Mi-2 is an intriguing helicopter I have not seen before. If several more unique helicopters not often seen at air shows can be procured for the show and we get a nice flying lineup of interesting civilian and vintage warbird helicopters this may not be too bad at all.

Keep up the good work, Michael! Looking forward to hearing future additions to the lineup.
