Gentlemen,

This past Fall I was given the extraordinary privilege of flying a float equipped N3N, arguably the greatest feat of bi-winged aeronautical engineering of all time. Although having owned and flown a Stearman for almost twenty five years I now must recognize that I have been but a mere second class stooge, barely fit to cast an eye let alone hand upon "the great one" from the Philadelphia Navy Yard, and for that chance I shall remain eternally grateful. We, of the great unwashed PT masses, salute those vaunted few true "aviators" who call the rear 'pit of the N3N home, and shall henceforth gratefully give up the best parking spots, prettiest "co-pilots", and our places in the fly-in breakfast line to those who we now acknowledge, are better than us.

(God, that hurt!)

As any respectable WIX regular knows, nothing is true on WIX without pictures

That being said, I've also had the chance to fly an "N" (not on floats mind you).

It was smooth and powerful and handled like it was on rails.

Clearly you hang with good company Dan.

I cannot confirm or deny the "extortion" accusation. I can use a quote from Hillary Clinton "all e mails are lost"
