Hope this will kick off a few interesting photos:

When BGen Henry Spicer was boss of CTAF, he flew this 'rainbow queen' F-86F. Would make a neat warbird colour scheme, with matching bone dome.

Another couple, and a question:

173rd FIS NB ANG F-86D, but with an unusual pod mounted on the outer skin of the rocket tray (photo below) and in place of the rocket tray (above).

The pod was marked 'An OGAMA product', so assume a Hill AFB origin (OGAMA wasn't a regular F-86D overhaul facility, but the pod sems to have originated there). But what was it? Personnel pod or radar reflector?

This picture had "Buddy Todd's F-86" written on the back but I think it appears to be the same jet.

The San Pedro Sula Sabre 4s desperately need someone to rescue them: I have been involved in a couple of time-waster efforts to do just that and I can only hope that a serious collector might do the deed. All are ex-RAF, ex-Yugoslav AF and converted to 6-3 wing at the end of RAF service or just prior to going to Yugoslavia (RAF had a mix of wing types).

Over the years the identities of these aircraft have become confused, and from my analysis of the photo above, the status of those shown is:

Eight Sabre 4s were retired by the FAH, with the five aircraft seen here, plus FAH3003 or 3009 elsewhere at SPS (see below), also derelict.

FAH3006 (retired after NLG collapse) is preserved in Honduras and FAH3003 or FAH3009 is preserved at Santiago Los Cerillos, but parading as '3006'.

It appears that the collection may be growing there. Google maps shows, I believe, 7 F-86s now...
