Hey guys! So I have a bit of an odd request, I'm looking for an image of a B-24 (preferably a J model but I'll take what I can get). I'd take it myself but the closest B-24 to me is 8 hours away. If it could be done with a wide lens, that would be even better. Please take a look at the diagram below with what I am looking for.

If anyone can help out, Id be really appreciative. Thanks!

I know I know... in the grand scheme of things 8 hours isn't that bad. I forget some countries don't even have an example! But currently I don't feel like driving to Ottawa and dealing with all that snow! lol.

The whole reason I'd like a shot from that angle is to incorporate it in a large format digital painting I'm going to attempt to create. In the end the goal is for the for the finished piece to be roughly 10ft wide by 8ft high in four long banners. The piece will be hung from a large curved exhibit style backdrop we have at the museum.

In this shot you can see the curved backdrop in the background.

All of this is to add to the (somewhat personal) display dedicated to my grandfather and the 90th BG. My father and I base our 1942 Jeep at the museum and we are always trying to add to the display.

This particular idea was sparked because of my cousin. We were invited to display the Jeep at his upcoming comic Convention in Hartford: http://www.comiconn.com so naturally we couldn't refuse. With that, I decided we should have a bit more of an immersive environment for the Jeep to sit in, hence where the idea for the backdrop came about.

So the convention is some months away but I wanted to try and begin the process to see if its actually doable. Time will tell. Especially considering I've got plenty of other display related stuff to do around the museum!

I would wager you would need to go further then Ottawa to get the angle you need, unless they are willing to unpack their hangar

Good luck with your search!

Maybe could use a model B-24, or a screen shot from a flight sim program?

What about this? It's as best I can find in my stuff. It's taken at the Douglas-Tulsa plant during the war. Nice lineup of B-24s!
