That is the clearest example of the insignia slots I have ever seen. Depending on the mission the national insignia could be covered or changed. I have read about that in a book about the Ravens.

Ying Vang posted the following reply to this photo when posted on the Ravens Group page. He included a photo of his soccer team. I had not even noticed the soccer game in progress on the field behind the flight line. His estimation on the date of the photo would coincide with the delivery dates during 1971/1972 of the 10 T-41B and D aircraft to Laos.
