So that's the famous Napier Sabre, eh? One of the holy grails of engine building. Not many alive today have ever heard one run.

I'd have thought it would be much easier and quicker to repair damage if it was bolted or rivetted.

It arrived with a 2nd restored Napier Sabre, I would LOVE to see it in a (Sea) Fury , with no chin intakes, just the ones on the wings leading edges !!
Or even in a S.Fury T.20 !!

It was being worked on in England and recently shipped to his place in Florida. As for the other project, I remember a thread about it over on the Flypast forum.
