C-141 "Hanoi Taxi" Final Flight
The aircraft that repatriated more than 500 American prisoners of war held in North Vietnam will arrive at the Air Force museum at 9:30 a.m. May 6. Watch this http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/ for more information.

Will be sorry to see her go. She still flies regular missions and goes over my house frequently. I kinda hoped they may let her fly one last airshow season, but I guess not.

I'm planning on being there for the C-141's final flight. Truely the end of an era. I was fortunate to have been able to be at the museum for the SR-71 Flybys (awesome) and Landing aswell as the F-117 testbed that the Museum now has. I wouldn't miss it for anything.

Yeah, being at the museum (or near-by) is always exciting when a "new" plane comes in. I've been there for the B-1B, SR-71, EC-18, Shoo Shoo Baby, VC-137, and way back in 19mumblemumble I got to see the Thunderbirds escort the F-100 in. I was also down there when the F-22 was brought in to be used for live-fire testing, in formation with an F-16 and KC-135. Fun stuff.
