Here are a few pics from the warbird flyin in sevierville tenn. Sorry about butchering the name, this is by far a good show to go and see. Very Informal, Great flyby from th aircraft. The 2 Corsairs that showed up, WOW. They were in immaculate condition. Everybody was very friendly. The only problem the whole weekend was the traffic getting to the hotel. It Sucked beyond imagination. It was well worth the five hour trip. (no airplane availible).

Any Ideas an ercoupe with a 6 cylinder 145 hp engine, Cessna 185 tail gear, and the mains of of something else. Gets of the ground in a hurry, but cruises the sames speed as a basic ercoupe

If anyone knows where the Raftis Corsair duo is scheduled to attend this season (other than Oshkosh), please let me know. I haven't had a chance yet to see either of those beauties in person. What a wonderful sight, eh? :)

I was also at the fly-in Saturday. It was my first time seeing these FG-1Ds too. Gary Kohs Corsair (the one factory fresh with no markings) was one of the planes used for the filming of the Blacksheep Squadron TV series.

More planes planned to attend but the bad weather Friday kept them away. Also, the museum's other P-47 "Wicked Wabbit" was disassembled undergoing an inspection. Did anyone go Sunday? I wanted to know if any other planes showed up that weren't there Saturday?

With Dollywood (the state's most visited tourist attraction) just down the road traffic is always heavy during warm months. Beyond learning shortcuts go early and leave late.

Y'all come back now :)
