The A-26 was sold a few years ago to Tim Savage and is now in Indiana.

The important thing is that it went to someone who restored it to fly and has it on the air show circuit. Saw it fly at Thunder Over Michigan last year and I know they are planning on flying it to Chino next month for the Planes of Fame show.

Do you think there will ever be a a-26 touring with an airshow in the northeast?

The long established "Spirit of North Carolina" is up for sale. This bird used to frequent shows on the Eastern Seaboard. Don't think they frequented too many shows above the ole' Mason Dixon Line though.

Although the A-26 is gone doesn't Geneseo have its little brother...the A-20H Havoc? I saw it when it was in Beaver Falls, PA and then I found that it had been transferred to Geneseo for completion. What is the status of its restoration??

Still here, no recent movement on the restoration front.

I wonder about these sales that are contingent n the buyer agreeing to keep a specific restoration company on board. I know that aero trader is an established outfit and does good work (AFAIK) but if I drop the $1.6M to buy it why do I have to agree to something that has been set up prior to my purchase rather than say, going with John Muszala?

Well, you tell 'em you're happy to buy it, but no deal on the contingency arrangement. See what they say.
