Yeah I was a bit unsure about it, I 'think' this is the fuselage mold but couldn't quite get that clear in my correspondence with the builders. They also sent photos of the tube frame.

On another subject, got a nice surprise after receiving an email from Thomas Farrell about the article on Flak-Bait- he is the son of regular FB pilot 'Boss' Farrell. He has kindly sent a few photos which will run in the next issue.

Could be "poor man's plywood." Criss-crossed thin layers of wood with glue in-between. It would take some time, but anyone with a saw to slit thin pieces of wood could accomplish the task. Fiberglass accomplishes the same thing nowadays.

I wonder if that is the complex wood laminate process
