			Capt. Norman J. "Dusty" Kleiss, USN (Ret) passed away at age 100 last Friday (April 22, 2016) in San Antonio, Texas. As a 26 year old LTJG, Kleiss was an SBD pilot flying with USS Enterprise's Scouting Six at the pivotal Battle of Midway.  He scored direct hits on the Japanese aircraft carriers Akagi and Hiryu, contributing significantly to the ultimate American victory and earning his nation's everlasting gratitude.

			Dusty was also one of the VS-6 guys who got shot up by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor.
I am proud to have know him and called him friend?
