Wish I was there! Great Pictures.

Whose FG-1 is that in the Dark Blue? I don't think I've seen too much on that. Looks great!

I see, the registry makes short work of such Digging. Both Corsairs are beautiful!

The same airplanes that Kermit keeps at Sun N Fun museum are the ones towed out for the vendors to open up shop inside the hangars. It is about 8 planes in total.

I don't remember for sure when PM crashed - I think it was in 88. She's been back in the air for several years and is now owned by Ron Buccarelli.

Awesome shots Chuck!!

Tim, the overall dark blue FG-1D is the ex-Gary Kohs aircraft (BuNo.92106) that received such fanfare a few years back after emerging from its restoration at Airpower Unlimited. Gary Kohs is the first person I know of who spared no expense having a Corsair restored to 100% bone stock configuration. That plane is the premier example by which all other surviving Corsairs should be measured IMO.

Ferrari racing team owner Tony Raftis from Melbourne, Australia recently bought it and BuNo.67070 (pictured) along with a host of other rare warbird fighter types. Oh, to have a surplus of cash to play with! 8)

With regards to the ex-Gary Kohs corsair. Didn't it lose out on grand champion at osh (or maybe Reno) because they said it was the wrong color? I think it looks perfect

Ron Buccarelli has been racing with Precious Metal for a couple of years.
