RAAF Museum Point Cook

Mon May 30, 2016 9:42 am

The Wings Over New Zealand Show proudly presents the next Wings Over Australia installment, Episode 101 - RAAF Museum Point Cook.

James Kightly and I visit the Royal Australian Air Force's Museum at Point Cook, Victoria, Australia.

As well as a fascinating tour of the museum guided by James, who volunteers at the museum regularly, I also met Andy Wright of the Aircrew Book Review website, and then James and I met with RAAF restoration volunteers Ron Gretton and Geoff Matthews, who have worked on many of the big projects within the museum, from restoring the Supermarine Walrus to building a flying replica of the WWI Bristol Boxkite.
