Connie getting the HU-16 stuck in the mud was kind of funny, because all the 4 wheel drive pick-up guys tried and tried to pull him out to no avail. We went over with the WWII Half track you see pictured and just eased him on out!

Just a little correction to Bills excellent thread, Suger Booger is not the same as Stang and not involved in the runway accident @ KOSH. That Mustang is actually http://www.mustangsmustangs.com/p-51/survivors/serial/44-74404
Suger Booger is now Pecos Bill this one;
http://www.mustangsmustangs.com/p-51/?survivors/serial/44-74445
Always a bit of confusion with same N number and one point!! Gotta luv guvmit!!!
