Ollie,
Nice Piper. It may not be a L-4 (try Heller) but it could be an early O-59. A few of them were off the shelf J-3s with the round glazing.

Jim, it's a real J-3. No extra glazing.

I know there is a L-14 near by. Next time I go where it's base, I'll take a picture of it.
