No matter how bleak the world can look at times. There will always be hero's to remind us of the greatness that humans can be. True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost. On a normal day, we value heroism because it is uncommon. During the Battle of Britain, we valued heroism because it was everywhere.
May God continue to bless "The Few" ...

What's missing? I think the rendering above covers the 'principal' aircraft involved in the BOB.
Below the Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel-le-Ferne, built in 1993

Memorial wall with the names of all the ‘Few’ that were involved in the battle on the Allied side.

The memorial center piece is a statue of a pilot, placed in the center of a huge propeller created with paving stones.

An early view of the BOB Memorial before the visitor center was completed and other areas under construction. Just above and to the right of the propeller are the Spitfire and Hurricane replicas on display. A wonderful place to visit to reflect and remember.
